Customer Reviews
Good map, slow shipping
I ordered the Australia Road and 4WD Atlas a few weeks ago. The map itself is really detailed and exactly what I needed for an upcoming trip. It covers a lot of ground and the printing quality is solid. My main gripe was the shipping time; it took about 8 business days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long for a domestic order. Customer service was responsive when I inquired, but a faster shipping option, even if it cost a little more, would be appreciated.
Got the app, pretty good!
Decided to try out the Hema 4WD Maps App for a weekend trip to the mountains. It was actually pretty easy to download and get going. I was a bit worried about signal out there, but it worked fine offline which was a huge relief. The interface is pretty straightforward, didn't have to spend ages figuring it out. Only thing is, sometimes zooming in and out felt a tiny bit sluggish on my older phone, but nothing major. Overall, it got us where we needed to go without getting lost, so I'm happy.
HX-2+ works well
Bought the HX-2+ GPS Navigator. Setup was quick. Maps are accurate for off-road. Screen is clear. Battery life is decent. Definitely an upgrade from my old unit. Shipping was average.
Consistent quality, returning customer
This was my third order from Hema Maps, and as usual, they delivered. I picked up the Kimberley Map this time, and it's just as detailed and reliable as the Great Desert Tracks Map Pack I bought last year. Their maps are always spot-on for off-road adventures, and I appreciate that consistency. The website's navigation is familiar now, so finding what I need is easy. Haven't had any issues with their products yet, which is why I keep coming back for more before each big trip.

thinking about getting the great desert tracks map pack. does hema maps ship to the US, and if so, what's the typical delivery time to like, California?
hey, anyone know if the hx-2+ gps navigator is worth the extra cash over the regular hx-2? tryna decide which one to grab for a big trip.
